Dr. Brooke A. Carlson (English) and Madison McNamara ’20 traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada in February for the Far West Popular Culture Association 2018 conference (with the assistance of the Chaminade’s Behavioral Sciences, Humanities, Business, and Education (BSHBE) Undergraduate Research program.)

Dr. Carlson presented “Colliding Worlds on Such A Full SeaLee’s SciFi Race and Readership.”  Madison presented “Loving the Idea of Her:  Fincher’s Feminist Film.”  Madison will also be presenting in April at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) in Oklahoma.  You can see her share her research at our own undergraduate research conference, Na Liko Na’auao, on Friday, April 20, 2018.  Well done, Madison!
